Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is the gentle art of restoring balance within — a practice that uses fine, sterile, single-use needles to awaken the body’s innate capacity to heal. Each treatment is thoughtfully attuned to your unique needs, guided by an in-depth diagnostic process that weaves together your health history, observation, and palpation. Through years of experience and ongoing study, Jacqueline offers care that meets you where you are, drawing upon a variety of modalities and approaches to support your journey toward harmony and well-being. Your comfort, trust, and informed consent remain at the heart of every treatment.
Over the years, Jacqueline’s practice has evolved into a deeply rooted and nurturing space — one that holds a special reverence for women’s health. She has supported countless women in reconnecting with the natural rhythm of their cycles — easing pain, restoring regularity, guiding transitions, and enhancing fertility outcomes with compassion and skill.
Acupuncture and TCM offer support for many aspects of well-being — soothing the effects of stress, relieving acute and chronic pain, improving sleep, lifting mood, and restoring ease to the digestive and urinary systems. Each session becomes an invitation to return home to yourself — grounded, balanced, and whole.
Osteopathic Manual Therapy
Osteopathy is both a science and an art—rooted in precise palpation and guided by a rigorous clinical methodology. Its goal is to release restrictions, blockages, and compressions within the body’s tissues, allowing them to function as nature intended. As founder A.T. Still observed, every deviation from health has a cause, and that cause has a specific location. The osteopath’s role is to identify and address this underlying cause, restoring health and balance in place of disease.
In osteopathic care, the patient is treated as an integrated whole. The principles of osteopathy emphasize that structure governs function, that the role of the artery is absolute, and that the body possesses an inherent capacity for self-regulation and healing. Treatment focuses on restoring optimal movement within the body’s structures, thereby enhancing their function. This process improves blood and lymphatic circulation, supports metabolic exchange across all systems, and promotes healthy nerve function. As a result, osteopathic treatment optimizes the performance of the digestive, pulmonary, cardiac, reproductive, urinary, and cerebral systems—contributing to overall vitality and well-being.
“Nature is not an object to analyze, but a subject to experience”
Everything in nature follows a cycle. When working with the body, we align with its inherent rhythm, encouraging movement and following the cycles of Qi (vital energy), cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and the Primary Respiratory Mechanism (PRM). Through stillness and observation, we can engage and dialogue with the tissues. Jacqueline will use acupuncture and osteopathic techniques to create suggestions to the system — like a ripple effect that encourages change and restores balance. As W.G. Sutherland, DO, eloquently stated, “Every drop knows the Tide.”
